Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it) (video)
My friend Amanda had never seen a whole Star Wars film. When I asked her if she wanted to watch the original trilogy she said that she would, but that she already knew what happens. So I took out my voice recorder and asked her to start from the top. I then created some very basic animation in ...
An Interesting Star Wars Summary
theforce.net — I guess we Star Wars fans just tend to assume that everyone's seen Star Wars at this point right? The OT at least! Apparently, (gasp!) that's not the case as is evident from the video below. Behold as a girl named Amanda, who's never seen the films, ... (more) An Interesting Star Wars Summary

Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it)
Roberson's Interminable Ramble — (via) Here's how Joe Nicolosi introduces this bit of amusement... My friend Amanda had never seen a whole Star Wars film. When I asked her if she wanted to watch the original trilogy she said that she would, but that she already knew what happens. So I took out my voice recorder and asked her to start from the top. I then created some very basic animation in Final Cut to go along with her narration. Now, enjoy.

Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn’t seen it)
/Film » Sci-Fi — Most everyone I know has seen the original Star Wars trilogy, but there is always a person who has only seen it in bits and pieces over the years and doesn’t quite understand the big picture. Joe Nicolosi recorded his friend Amanda as she retells the story from the tiny amount that she has seen or heard about with rather hilarious ...

Star Wars as retold by someone who's never seen the movie
The Website at the End of the Universe - A science fiction community and weblog — It's hard to believe that there are people who have never seen at least one Star Wars movie, but there are probably plenty. Here's a highly amusing retelling of the story by someone who's never seen any of the movies, but has been exposed to enough of it through osmosis to piece together a sort of synopsis.   ...

This will distract you... in a good way
FRAK - Battlestar Galactica — The excuses for posting this here a several. First, I could have posted it at my neglected Star Wars blog, but I decided to continue the neglect over there. Second, it actually has a quick little BSG reference in there if you pay attention. Third, it's just so funny and cute... and lastly, I think a lot of us could use a little something to keep our minds occupied for the next (checks time) 5 hours and 15 minutes. Check out "Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it)" via io9 ...

The Star Wars Trilogy explained by somebody who's never seen it all
SFX — This animator's young friend, Amanda, tries to piece together what the three Star Wars movies are about from stuff that she's heard over the years. "They blew up the Death Star, I said that right? That's important." Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it) ...

"They go to this planet full of the...brown muppets."
Suvudu - Science Fiction and Fantasy Books, Movies, and Games — I stumbled onto this video the other day of someone attempting to describe the plot of the Star Wars movies (episodes 4-6) without having actually seen one the entire way through. The accompanying animation treatment is really, really funny. I feel kind of bad for the girl, now being chuckled at by Star Wars fanatics all over the Internet who can recite half the lines verbatim, but at the same time, I can't help but find the whole thing endearing. She makes a valiant effort. Really. (Original here ...

Saturday Morning Animations, Episode 1
Suvudu - Science Fiction and Fantasy Books, Movies, and Games — Hello and welcome to the first episode of Saturday Morning Animations here on Suvudu! We've come a long way in digital animation and storytelling, as I hope this little series (I have no idea how long this will run, but I have enough to get us through this month and the next). You're not longer tied to enormous production houses to create a digital film with high production values. Of course, that's not to say I'm going to restrain myself to only the slickest and most polished of productions, that would be far too limiting. The joy of finding animations across the web is in the free-for-all creativity and, as you'll see today, you don't have to be photo-realistic to put ...
