Back at my desk, lots of work at once, and many announcements to make, so here we go... I've arranged with the BBC and the organisers of Newcon in Northampton (11th-12th October) to premiere clips from my Afternoon Play adaptation of Iain Banks' 'The State of the Art' at the event. That'll be at 6.30pm on the Saturday night, and hopefully Iain himself will be on that panel to talk about the project. The video - made by YouTube poster NoDaylight - was originally a birthday present for a ...

Delirious, he and the TARDIS are taken to a military hospital (where his multiple heartbeats put the doctors in a spin). He is brought to the attention of Brigadier General Lethbridge-Stuart, the commander of UNIT (the United Nations ...

RevolutionSF —
Doctor Who has been around since we were all lads and laddies, and it got a sweet rejuvenation a few years ago, with an all-new Doctor that smooshed together nicely in sync with all the previous Doctors. You hear that, sci-fi remakers? Who could imagine such a thing? Here are things that were smashing, and that made us want to smash things, about Doctor Who. Doctor Who Sucks Given how much history this guy has interfered with, I'm surprised he is not better known. -- Deanna Toxopeus Dr.Who went on hiatus at about the same time as A Prairie Home Companion , leaving every public broadcasting nerd in the Midwest in a state of metaphysical ...
