Super interesting. Lots of good tips for aspiring script writers, too. My favorite bit, though:

" And you know we have the Doctor saying Allons-y now, and I've said Allons-y for years, I don't know why, it's like one of those funny things I'd say, let's go, Allons-y. And I like it as a phrase and I think it works for him. And so it's quite a nerve to put yourself on the page like that and go "I like that phrase so I'm putting that in," and now you see David using it, and I feel like an idiot when I say it now. I've had to ban it from my own speech."

     XD

Whoviavortex — ... Doctor Who fans. He was a brilliant writer. If you don't know your Doctor Who there's a story called The Talons of Weng Chiang, and the first episode of that, every line is perfect, every line is funny, or dark... There's not a word wasted. It's a masterpiece of writing, and good for Doctor Who fans keeping his memory alive, because he's dead now. If he'd been alive we'd have signed him up straight away, he was an absolute genius.
