Early efforts to include Soundwave into the 2007 film had the Decepticon transforming into a helicopter. Poor fan reaction made the filmmakers change the name of the helicopter-transforming robot to Blackout. Soundwave was left out of the film altogether.
His new digs for ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ are pretty sweet. Can’t wait to see some actual footage of him.
