According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog Mel Gibson probably won’t be back as Max, even though Miller teased to reporters last weekend that, "It could be Mel, it could be anyone." ... now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the star of “RockNRolla”, “Bronson” and a ton of other things, Tom Hardy and everyones favorite charity auctioneer Charlize Theron (The Road), are in negotiations to play the major parts in writer-director George Miller’s return to the sand blasted, petrol scarce world of muscle cars, speed freaks and gyro-copters.
