First up: news from Comingsoon is that Bruce Boxleitner, who starred in the 1982 original alongside Jeff Bridges, is “is currently filming a role” for the sequel. No word on how big a “role” that is yet, or even the plot of the sequel. Also, here’s the latest trailer for the animated sci-fi comedy “Monsters vs. Aliens”. Bruce Boxleitner will return for a role in Tron 2. I love the nostalgia of bring back the actors from Tron for the sequel. They have also brought back Jeff Bridges. They are great performers and give me hope for the sequel.
Tron is a great cyberPunk cult classic and a must own for any fan of cyberPunk (get your copy of Tron here)
