Take, for example, the BBC Archive collection of documents related to "The Genesis of Doctor Who." We get to read the original in-house reports discussing bringing science fiction to the BBC. The BBC have released some documents that detail some of the development of Doctor Who, from a feasibility brief to the first audience feedback data. It’s a great read, especially knowing what we know now. To think they specified no robots or bug eyed aliens! I recommend checking it out.
