I rule over the unknown universe and have been asked to convey this message. We the citizens of the unknown universe are quite worried about the continual discovery of more and more of the universe by the human species. We do not wish contact with you and as such have taken it upon ourselves to stay out of your detectable range. However, your continued use of things like the Hubble Deep Fields is putting undue strain on us. It is simply requiring too massive of an effort on our part and we urgently and politely ask you to please stop discovering more of the universe. Seriously, you can't even keep people on your own moon. You really don't need to know more about what's out there than you already do. Stop being greedy.
