Thor casting call reported; what about Kevin McKidd?

Corona Coming Attractions reports that a new casting call has gone out for Thor , the adaptation of the Marvel Comic to be directed by Kenneth Branagh. The casting call throws into question the reported casting of Kevin McKidd (HBO's Rome ), who was previously in talks to play the title god of thunder. (link)
